Location

61a Mayfield Road is in the Newington area of Edinburgh, close to the two main Edinburgh University campuses in the city centre and King's Buildings. There are small shops and a café closeby.

Bus connections

Buses 12 and 24 are the closest, with the 12 stopping almost outside. One block away is the main Newington Road to Cameron Toll, where Lothian Buses 3, 7, 8, 29, 31, 37, 47, and 49 all stop, as well as less frequent buses serving areas outside of the Lothians.

Car parking

There is space for one car adjacent to the front porch but it's an awkward manoeuvre. Parking is available on local streets and still usually free but do check local signage.

Finding the door

61a Mayfield Road is at the bottom of the hill, then down a short lane between Kaur's Nail Bar and Soupsmith's Café. Ignore 63a on the left and 61a is the white door behind Kaur's.

Accessibile

The rooms at 61a Mayfield Road are wheelchair accessible, once outside the main door. The short lane is less recommended for wheelchair access so if arriving by car or taxi, be sure to drive to the main door.

Location

23 Eyre Place is in Edinburgh's New Town. Walking from the city centre down Dublin Street and King George V Park, or Dundas Street, takes about 15 minutes. It is also close to the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Stockbridge and Bonnington areas of Edinburgh.

Bus connections

Buses 8 and 9 run down Rodney Street, two minutes away, and the 23, 27 and 36 serve Dundas Street, also very close.

Car parking

There is metered parking outside but spaces are hard to come by. Tesco have a supermarket car park five minutes away at Broughton Street but this is for customers only so perhaps combine your visit with a shopping trip.

23 Eyre Place is an osteopathic practice, with a blue door up a short flight of steps.
